Ashim's Hibachi Grill

The environment was cozy and quaint. With sufficient lighting and music to enjoy the experience. They have a large menu on the wall or rather hanging from the ceiling. The prices are actually really affordable for the quality of food you're getting! The servings are large and the fish is delicious and fresh! We ordered the large Sashimi Sampler for only $25, which is "Chef's Choice" and was pleasantly surprised! The Escolar or "Hawaiian Butter Fish" (Pictured by itself) was melt-in-your-mouth buttery and clean! We also ordered 4 of their signature rolls including a blue crab roll. They were all not only delicious, but we were given an extra serving of salmon sashimi with the rolls! We will definitely be coming back! If there were any downsides at all to our experience, I'd say the music was a bit too loud and the soda machine was really tall and I felt almost childlike trying to get ice into my cup. Lol.

Love the ambience, the music is perfect volume to have conversations with friends this is one of my favorite places. The only downside is the service sometimes if it’s your first time the menu is a bit confusing and the staff won’t engage on a lot of explaining. As well as refilling sauces (soy sauce). The food is delicious I always enjoy coming here by myself or with a group of friends.

Only really enjoyed the fresh miso soup that blew my mind. The Calamari was perfect. The yellowtail roll was mid. The rice was dry.. My friend ordered chicken hibachi plate which was received hot in an adequate time, while my 15 pcs Sashimi plate took 50 mins. And I only received 9 pieces. I waited longer for the rest. The manger said he gave me extra pieces… there was one. I ordered more white rice to go with the sashimi.. which I personally don’t feel like I should’ve had to pay for as I paid for my food in advance and it was forgotten about. I don’t need a free appetizer or anything, but rice isn’t a huge food cost. It’s really the principle for me personally. Also when the rice was ready, it was placed on the wrong table. A dirty table of people I watched leave while I waited for my plate. Who I assume was the manager, did apologize but it was just really quick. It didn’t really seem too important and I watched everyone else in the restaurant (less than 20 customers) be served before me. Honestly a very disappointing experience. I had high hopes. Won’t be back.

This place has good food but you have to be patient. They cook it fresh. So don't come starving, expecting your food in 15 minutes, you'll have to wait longer than that. The hibachi is pretty good along with their sushi. Seafood soup was okay. They stay open late on weekends. They don't have waiters/waitress so be prepared to grab your own forks,napkins, and chop sticks. This place is very casual compared to some other hibachi spots. So jeans and a shirt are totally acceptable 👌 Portion sizes are on the smaller side for the price.

Overpriced casual dining place with small portion sizes. Very long wait time. This was dinner at 9pm on a not very busy thursday night. Ordered a texas beast bowl and hibachi platters etc. Food tasted okay. 5 pieces in the specialty roll was $16. 6 tiny pieces in the house roll was $8. We had to order more food once we saw the portions.
